Our Reconciling in Christ Affirmation declares that... St. Paul's is a community of the people of God, called to serve. We believe when we are marked by the Cross of Christ in Baptism, we become His forever. Paul said we should "welcome one another…as Christ has welcomed you for the glory of God." (Romans 15:7) So all God's children are welcome here! We welcome all to worship our Risen Lord, learn about His message, and join us in our ministry of reconciliation. We recognize our world as a place of alienation and brokenness. As a Reconciling in Christ congregation, St. Paul's welcomes all who seek God, from all traditions. We welcome new visitors, old friends, those who need strength, or have doubts. We welcome you without regard to: ...racial background or ethnicity, income level, abilities or disabilities; ...whether you own a home, rent, or are homeless; ...sexual orientation or gender identity: straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender; ...age or marital status: single, married, separated, divorced, remarried, widowed, or partnered. Please join us as a fully participating member, growing with us in faith and fellowship. "All this is from
God who reconciled us through Jesus Christ and gave us the Coming event: We will show the award wining nonfiction film, "For the Bible Tells Me So," in Kinports Hall at 7 pm the evening of June 6. This film looks at several families of faith as they face the issues which arise from a having a gay or lesbian son, daughter, or parent. Discussion and refreshments will follow.
