We are an ELCA congregation, actively listening for God's message and doing His work. Here, all are welcome!
We believe we share the Gospel when we welcome everyone regardless of economics, racial or ethnic background, orientation, gender identity, marital status, and more. See our RIC page (under Program Areas).
The Council has unanimously approved the appointment of Pr. Jerry Straszheim as our Interim Pastor for this transitional phase of our life together. Welcome him (and Connie), please!

May 16: Withb the help of Thrivent for Lutherans, St. Paul's sponsors the May AIDS Partnership dinner, held at Good Sam Pres./UCC church, Park Blvd and 61st St, Pinellas Park. We can use your help and your fellowship. Dinner at 6:30. Tell anyone on the Social Ministry Team.
Reminder: SPL asks for canned and dried fruits and veggies in the month of May. "Inasmuch as you did it for one of the least of these..." says Jesus.
NEWS: In the months of June, July and August, we will start our worship services at 10 a.m. This will allow time for discussion classes on the interim process, which will follow worship in both June and August. Mark your calendars! (It is sooooo embarassing to walk in late to worship.)
Paul Gibson, our congregation's seminarian, has sent his spring posting and it is now on the Education page. Check your atlas (or MapQuest) to see where Sparks, Nevada is.
